Not to be confused with Ludolf [Ludolphus], von Sudheim [Suchem, Suchen], active 14th century, author of Iter ad Terram Sanctam. The two authors were confused in a 1989 update of this record, citing a 1971 edition of the Iter published under title Ludolph von Suchem's description ... , the cataloger having mistaken that name as a variant for Ludolf von Sachsen, adding 400 Ludolfus, de Suchem, approximately 1300-1377 or 1378, and 400 Ludolph, von Suchem, approximately 1300-1377 or 1378 (based on variant names for Ludolf, von Sudheim); as of July 2016 many bibliographic records in the WorldCat reflect this confusion.
